LEC | Love Every Challenge

“Anything or anyone that does not bring you alive is too small for you.”
— David Whyte
LEC 22 will take place from 18th to 22nd of October, 2026

To LEC or not to LEC [from Latvian — JUMP] — that is always a choice.

You can stay where you are.
You can hold on tightly to what you know.
Or you can take a breath, loosen your grip, and jump.

Not because you have to become someone else.

But because there might be more of you waiting to be discovered.

What do you want from your life?
What makes you feel alive?
What dreams have you quietly put aside?
How do you show up when things get difficult — and when other people are involved?

Some challenges will meet you outside yourself.
Others will come from within.

You may discover where you give your power away.
Where you are waiting for life — or someone else — to change.
And where, perhaps, you have more choice than you thought.

Easier said than done?

Good. That's why we're here.

For the 22nd time, Piedzīvojuma Gars invites you to Love Every Challenge (LEC) — a five-day experiential journey into challenge, connection, courage, and possibility.

A space to explore yourself from unexpected perspectives.
To meet your fears, your dreams, your values and the people around you.
To experiment with new ways of responding to life.

And perhaps, somewhere along the way, to leave behind a version of yourself that has done its job --
and make room for the one that wants to emerge.

LEC is not about having all the answers.

It's about becoming more willing to ask the questions.

And learning to Love Every Challenge.

More than 300 people have already dared to jump.
Will you be next?

I will

THE TRAINING METHOD

In LEC, you are the creator of your own experience.
LEC is a space to learn about yourself, develop new skills, and explore your own limits - while choosing yourself how far you want to go.
You decide what challenges you are ready to meet, and how deeply you want to explore.

Our main approach is experiential learning - learning by doing. Short theoretical inputs are followed by practical exercises, both individually and in groups, giving you the opportunity to learn through direct experience.

You will try, observe, reflect, and try again.
As sometimes the things we understand with our minds only truly become ours when we experience them.

To explore what it means to Love Every Challenge, the programme brings together three core approaches:
Picture

ADVENTURE AND OUTDOORS

Adventure and nature serve as tools for stretching your comfort zone.

You will step outside your usual environment and gradually remove the masks you wear in everyday life.

We will challenge you — physically, mentally, and emotionally.Your fears will gain symbolic meaning, and by facing them, you may discover new strength, motivation, and possibilities you didn't know were there.

Water, darkness, heights or lows — each can become a challenge, a mirror, or an invitation to move beyond what you thought was possible.

Because sometimes the challenge is not something to overcome, but something to meet — and learn to love.

FEELINGS AND COMMUNITY

Human connection is what makes LEC truly special.

Through body movement, improvisation, meditation, role play, and creative exercises, you will explore your inner world and allow emotions to become guides rather than obstacles.

You will learn to sense and visualise your goals before achieving them, listen more closely to what you want, and uncover the values that shape the choices you make.

You will explore the space between you and others — how you connect, communicate, cooperate, set boundaries, and allow yourself to be seen.

Throughout the training, you will work in small teams that often grow into something resembling a family <3

EXPERIENCE AND REFLECTION

Experience followed by reflection is the key to lasting transformation.

A significant part of learning happens when we pause and make sense of what we've experienced. Throughout the training, you will move between doing and observing, challenging and pausing, trying, reflecting, and growing.

Every concept introduced during LEC can be tested in practice. You will have space to notice what happens, discover new perspectives, and explore what you want to carry with you beyond the training.

Because an experience becomes a lesson when we stop, look back, and ask:

What is this teaching me — and what will I choose to do with it?

COURSE INFORMATION

LEC is a brave space where you can experiment, play, and grow.
It’s safe where you are. But safe only gets you so far.

This training will challenge you, motivate you, and inspire you.

You will be asked questions — and guided to find answers within yourself.

You will dig deep and climb high.
After all, wings weren’t made for walking.

You may feel cold and, at the same time, deeply warm.

You will be invited to speak — and to explore silence.

You will spend time on your own and become part of a beautiful community.

Values, cooperation, and care will accompany you through every challenge you face.

LEC will lead you onto unfamiliar roads — where you may get a little lost, and perhaps find something you weren’t looking for.

You will explore what you want to move towards, what might be holding you back, and where you have a choice.

You will learn to choose how you respond to what happens to you — and how to turn challenges into opportunities.

Take the leap. You might just discover that falling can feel a little like flying.
And who knows -- you might just kiss the sky.

THE VENUE

A legend says:
“Horses enter Rites — unicorns leave.” 🦄

We will live together in a remote countryside house surrounded by nature, stepping away from the noise and routines of everyday life.
Accommodation is simple and shared. We will sleep together in a common space on the second floor, with the option of sleeping in hammocks, tents, or even a treehouse. Bathrooms are shared, and so are the everyday responsibilities of living together.

Cooking, cleaning, keeping the fire going, taking care of the space — we will all contribute to creating a clean, cozy, and respectful home for the five days we share.

The nearest shop is 10 km away, so please bring any personal snacks or special items you may need.

Rites has a strict no-alcohol and no-drugs policy.

TIME FRAME

Picture
LEC consists of five intensive days.

Expect a deep and demanding learning journey — one that will ask for your energy, attention, openness, and willingness to step beyond the familiar.

Days may begin as early as 6 AM and continue until late (!) evenings.
There will be moments to pause and rest (but this is not a training where you simply switch off at 5 PM. 😉)

On the first day, you will travel by train to Ķegums, where we will meet you. Your luggage will be transported separately, while you begin the training with an approximately 5-hour (or more) hike through the countryside to Rites.

The final day will unfold differently for each participant and will conclude individually during the evening. There is no fixed finishing time — the ending is intentionally open, as the final part of the experience is part of your individual process.

⚠️ Arriving late or leaving early is not possible. Please make sure you are available for the entire five days.
